Animation Made Quiet

Most animated website templates are animated at you. Ours are built the other way around: motion is the last layer added, the first one cut, and it never moves faster than the reader. Below is the full grammar we work to, what it costs in performance, and what happens when a visitor has asked their machine for less movement.

Editorial Framer templates with quiet motion, slow reveals and restrained hover. Built for reduced motion and speed. In development, early access by email.

On saleTwo Editions are on sale today, Les Gourmands and Aperture Office. Complete React source, the original photography included. Single licence 89 USD, one published website. Studio licence 179 USD, up to five.

The grammar of quiet motion

The motion that cheapens a brand

What animation actually costs

Only transform and opacity are cheap. Animating top, left, width, height or margin forces the browser to recalculate layout on every frame, which is where the stutter on scroll comes from.
Native Framer effects carry no extra payload. Importing a third party animation library to do what two properties already do adds weight to every page for the sake of one section.
The heavy part of a page is almost never the animation. A hero at 2.4 MB and a hero at 400 KB look identical on screen and behave nothing alike on a hotel wifi.
A hero that starts at zero opacity pushes back the largest contentful paint, the metric Google reads as loading speed. Our heroes are present at first paint and motion begins underneath them.
Mobile gets fewer effects by design, not by accident. Parallax is disabled on touch, stagger tightens, and the layouts are drawn separately rather than squeezed down from desktop.
The only honest test is a mid range phone on a normal connection. A studio machine on fibre will approve almost anything, which is how heavy sites get signed off.

Reduced motion is not an optional extra

The Editions, and the launch prices

The hospitality Edition. It is not on sale, there is no checkout and no remix link exists today.
Vellum for medspa, dermatology and longevity clinics, Atelier for architecture, interiors and furniture studios, and Essentials, the simple one purpose tier such as a portfolio, are all in design.
Launch prices, fixed and never discounted: Essentials 49 USD. Edition, single licence for one site, 89 USD launch pricing. Edition Studio, up to five sites, 179 USD. The Saint Ego Collection, three Editions, 219 USD.
Each Edition ships as a complete multi page website: CMS collections, desktop and mobile layouts drawn separately, SEO structure, a licence, a written guide and a Framer remix link at release.
A commissioned Saint Ego website, designed from zero with its own motion language, starts around 3,500 EUR. That is the studio, not the template house.
Nothing is on sale yet. Early access is by email only, hello@saint-ego.studio, with a line about the kind of site you are building.
